The delegation of the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in an international conference in Tashkent

On November 27-29, a delegation from the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by Director S. Kairgeldina, took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Prospects for Sanatorium treatment and Medical Tourism", held in Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan).

The conference brought together representatives from more than 20 countries, including Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Poland, Israel, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Tajikistan, becoming a platform for exchanging experiences and discussing topical issues of the development of sanatorium and rehabilitation medicine in Central Asia.

The Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Khudayarov, as well as other public and government figures of the country, delivered a welcoming speech to the participants of the conference. The ceremony of signing memorandums of cooperation was also held within the framework of the event, which is an important step in strengthening international cooperation and expanding partnerships.

Within the framework of the panel session "Rehabilitation and sanatorium-resort medicine in Central Asia", the head of the Marketing and International Cooperation Department, M.Zh. Yesilbayev, made a presentation on the topic "The role of sanatorium-resort institutions in the health protection system of the population of Kazakhstan".

In addition, the delegation got acquainted with the work of the Sevarsoy and Oktash sanatoriums, which allowed them to exchange practical experience in the field of spa and rehabilitation treatment.

The Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues to develop international cooperation and strengthen partnerships with leading organizations in the field of sanatorium treatment and medical rehabilitation, introducing the best international practices to improve the quality of medical services in Kazakhstan.
