🔷 Quality Control and Management Discipline Strengthened at the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation
🔴 A regular executive meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sayagul Kairgeldina, Director of the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the participation of deputy directors, heads of structural divisions, and the Chief Physician of the “Burabay Health Resort Complex” branch.
📌 The meeting addressed key issues of organizational, financial-economic, and operational activities of the Institute and its branch, as well as the implementation of directives aimed at improving overall performance.
💬 Particular emphasis was placed on the following areas:
🔷 strengthening control over room facilities, sanitary and epidemiological safety, catering quality, and patient accommodation conditions at the “Burabay Health Resort Complex” branch;
🔷 ensuring timely processing of patient complaints and preventing further escalation;
🔷 enforcing internal regulations for both patients and staff, including official investigations in cases of violations;
🔷 implementing an access control and management system (ACMS) and improving mechanisms for monitoring patients’ presence within the resort territory;
🔷 digitalization of business processes at the Institute and the branch, including the introduction of specialized software, revision of office equipment, and ensuring software licensing compliance;
🔷 preparation for branch reaccreditation, completion of training activities, and transition to documentation and personnel testing stages;
🔷 intensifying the development of paid medical services, reforming the booking center, approving pricing lists, and assigning personal responsibility for performance indicators;
🔷 analyzing infrastructure conditions considering 80% depreciation of buildings, and preparing proposals for renovation and modernization of engineering networks;
🔷 introducing lean management principles (Kaizen method) to optimize internal processes and enhance economic efficiency.
💻 During the meeting, the Head of the Digitalization Department presented a report on the digital transformation of work processes at the Institute and the “Burabay Health Resort Complex”, with the participation of the software developer. Implementation stages and technical support measures were defined.
📑 Following the meeting, a comprehensive package of organizational and administrative measures was approved, with specific deadlines and clearly assigned personal responsibility. It was поручено to:
🔷 revise areas of responsibility among senior management;
🔷 align the work of the disciplinary commission;
🔷 conduct an audit of warehouse stocks and documentation;
🔷 prepare proposals for modernization of engineering infrastructure;
🔷 ensure daily monitoring of paid medical services;
🔷 strengthen control over labor discipline and service quality.
⚠ The Institute’s leadership emphasized a firm position: all internal processes must be carried out systematically and by default, without allowing situations that could affect the reputation of the institution or the quality of medical care.
The Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues its systematic efforts to improve management efficiency and the quality of sanatorium-resort services.
