Researchers of the Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan have published a scientific article in the international peer-reviewed journal Journal of Clinical Medicine.
The publication, entitled “Factors Associated with Severity of Post-Intubation Cicatricial Laryngeal Stenosis in Children: A Retrospective Study,” is authored by S. Kairgeldina, N. Sagandykova, M. Baurzhan, A. Mashekova, Y. Abdildin, M. Baimurzayeva, O. Mukhmetov, and E.Y.K. Ng.
The study analyzed clinical data of pediatric patients, which made it possible to identify key factors influencing the severity of post-intubation cicatricial laryngeal stenosis. The findings have practical significance for improving early diagnosis, preventing complications, and enhancing the effectiveness of treatment of this condition in pediatric practice.
